It is the main reference document for the production, distribution, design and construction of titanium pipe fittings in China.

       In order to enable the standard to better guide the standardized production, design selection, procurement, distribution, installation and processing of titanium pipes in China, the State Petroleum and Chemical Industry Bureau issued the “Titanium Butt Welded Seamless Pipe Fittings” on July 13, 1999 Industry standard. This standard was drafted by Quanxi Northwest Nonferrous Metal Research Institute. The standard number is HG / T3651-1999, which has been implemented since June 1, 2000. The dimensional tolerances of the pipe fittings specified in this standard are equivalent to the American National Standard ANSI B16.9-1986 “Forged Steel Butt Welding Pipe Fittings” and the Chinese National Standard GB 12459-90 “Steel Butt Welding Seamless Pipe Fittings”.
