this is going to be one of the most
amazing shows ever
New Orleans is going to take it up
another notch great city great food
everything’s really engaging so whether
you’re in a classroom or you’re moving
over to here Tech which is our exhibit
space you’re gonna find you can get your
hands on things with our industry
partners and also triple-a is gonna have
pavilions where you can try to move
guidelines into practice and really roll
up your sleeves and try things out but
then we’ll have future Tech’s so I think
they’ll feel like they have space and
time to think about what they want their
future to look like their practices
future and the future for their patients
there’s also something new it’s kind of
a riff on TED Talks and I love TED Talks
it’s an interplay between industry
clinicians and that interaction between
them seeing what’s going on now what’s
going to happen in the future and really
how we can work together to help our
patients but also hands-on opportunities
to help us learn more about technology
and new innovation as a clinic director
I am in charge of looking for global
practice and information so
understanding hearing aid technologies
over-the-counter options noise
protection devices as well as balance
disorder technology so I think it’ll be
great this year is you can actually get
continuing education credits during the
expo hall the exhibit floor it’s already
and now you’re throwing CEUs on there
the educational sections are great this
year really really good speakers a wide
variety of topics and to find out new
innovative ways to do things by sitting
down and having those conversations
one-on-one this is really no better way
than to get in get your hands dirty when
you’re making a purchasing decision so I
think that’s gonna be very beneficial
for my practice it’s always the
highlight of
year I love to be there where I can
engage in person with friends and
colleagues that I maybe don’t see in the
daily basis this is a perfect
opportunity to get in and get hands-on
with not only equipment I’ve never
gotten used before or devices I’ve never
seen before but experts son every single
one of this thing a single place where
we can go to interact with all of the
champions of new technology having the
CEOs of the different companies the
major companies are speaking to that
that’s really fantastic because in every
meetings that we have we just hear
representatives of the company talk
about the products you don’t really have
a big picture view of what the industry
is looking at you know so just from that
perspective I’m very excited I need to
know that when I present information to
a patient or one a person who comes to
me for guidance that I’ve actually had
some hands-on experience with that
technology that I can offer them
something that they’re not gonna get if
they read a review on Amazon this is the
most exciting year we’ve ever had and
you mean to come and be part of it
